Remember that no donation is too small! Donating $40 will pay for a child to attend our free afterschool program for a quarter and $120 will cover the cost for a child to attend our afterschool and summer programs for an entire year.

Start your visit to the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Complex off on the right foot by visiting the Dunes Interpretive Visitor Center in Guadalupe. We can provide visitor information, directions, local knowledge and expertise, guided walks, exhibits, and field guides.

If you are interested in leading groups of students or adults through our local dunes with the Dunes Center, then come join us to learn how! The Dunes Center is holding a training day for all current and perspective docents. To be a docent you must want to share the wonderful cultural history, plants and animals of the dunes with our visitors and encourage community stewardship of the dunes. Meet our experienced docents who will be sharing their experiences and knowledge with anyone potentially interested in volunteering with the Dunes Center. |

Join the Dunes Center as we unveil the latest artifacts in our exhibit entitled "The Lost City of DeMille" during the 90th anniversary of Cecil B. DeMille's filming of the epic Ten Commandments in the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes. Guests are invited to dress in their favorite 1920s clothing to commemorate the Ten Commandments filming that took place in 1923. The Guadalupe Cultural Arts and Education Center will be open in conjunction with the Dunes Center for this event. |

The organization will be publishing a book with Arcadia Publishing, a national publishing company that focuses on local histories.
