Guiding the governance and policy of the Dunes Center, the Board of Directors meets monthly to effect the organization's mission and purposes. As our principal ambassadors, the Board promotes the achievements and needs of the organization to a wide and universally interested public.

Leading hikes, presenting programs to school children, speaking at symposia and hosting dignitaries and funders at special events, all of our Directors help broadcast our important message of conservation through collaboration and education.

With the Dunes Center’s programs being offered across multiple county lines, Directors are recruited to provide a broad breadth of not just professional experience but geographical representation. Our Board is comprised of representatives from education, industry, the government and from the nonprofit world; their sphere of influence extends professionally and socially across the nation.
